“I told my brother to take up his cross!”

I told my brother to “deny himself” and “take up his cross” and be part of the family more. Was I in the wrong? Are we with God immediately when we die or do we need to wait? Why does Paul talk about the “foolishness” and “weakness” of God in 1 Corinthians 1?

“A better deal than Adam and Eve?”

Do we still need to deny ourselves? Who has a reprobate mind? Do we go to be with God immediately upon death or do we have to wait? Did Adam and Eve actually see God? What was it like for them?

Deny yourself? Not if you’re the new self!

Does our old self die when we believe? Does the Holy Spirit live in me or does Christ live in me? Why does Paul give instruction about women’s clothing but not men’s? What do you mean by “you can be yourself and express Jesus at the exact same time”?
