I used to feel an incredibly strong connection to God, and now I feel nothing. Has He left me? Can you be saved if you don’t believe in the gospel message? My pastor said some of us are not living up to the standard presented in the book of James. What are your thoughts?

What should we think about people who say they’ve been to Hell and back? Does Luke 9:26 mean God might be ashamed of me if I don’t witness enough? I was in an abusive marriage and just got out. Now, I wonder if I’m free to remarry someday?
