“Family and friends are shunning me!”

I was saved about a year ago, and lately my family and I have started to experience shunning (rejection) because of our faith. Can you help me with this? Why were Moses and Elijah on the Mount of Transfiguration? What are your thoughts on Calvinism and its doctrines?
