Sean called in to our radio program seeking counsel on John 6:44. Does this verse indicate God only invites certain people to Himself? That knowing God is simply a matter of fate?

Well, if that’s the case, there wouldn’t be much point to evangelism or world missions. Sharing our faith would need to include the caveat, “this might not work if you’re not one of the chosen.”
