In John 13, we see Jesus demonstrating what it means to serve others as he washes the disciples’ feet.

But in reading this passage, some conclude that the foot-washing event was about forgiveness.

So are we mostly forgiven but still in need of a “daily touch-up”? What did Jesus mean by “you are clean but not all of you”?
