If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous, so that He will forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. (1 John 1:9 NASB)
Any good Bible teacher knows that context is everything. Yet many Christians remain confused about 1 John 1:9, believing an ongoing cleansing ritual is needed to be forgiven and cleansed by God.

In this clip, I explain the proper context of this passage and share with a caller why we are as forgiven today as we ever will be. You can rejoice in knowing that by one offering, you have been cleansed for all time, and your forgiveness is truly finished!
