The disciples had the Spirit with them, but you have the Spirit in you forever. Plus, abiding isn’t a spiritual condition you somehow sustain; it’s a permanent new location you enjoy in Christ. So, you can stop begging for more of God’s Spirit. He’s already moved in, sealed you, and made you complete!
