Walking with Jesus: No Heavy Lifting Required! – Part 1

If it’s finished, why are you still working?

Religious pressure can leave Christians feeling like they’re carrying the weight of the world on their shoulders. But in Matthew 11, Jesus calls the weary and heavy-laden to find relief in Him. Join me as we dive into this invitation to experience a life where the heavy lifting is already done.

Why are we so scared to admit that Christianity is easy and light? Maybe because we don’t know what to do with Jesus’ words: “It is finished.” God did the work, and we can stop sweating over a debt that’s already been paid. God’s grace makes a relationship with Him a walk in the park, not a hike up a steep mountain!

If you’ve ever been caught up in striving, guilt, or working to “earn” God’s smile, this is the message you need. God doesn’t expect more from you. Watch now and discover how to truly embrace the rest that Jesus offers.

  10. “And you will find rest for your souls” – What does it mean to find rest in Jesus? How does this differ from simply taking a break?
  11. “For My yoke is easy” – What makes Jesus’ yoke easy? Why do we often resist it and choose a heavier one?
  12. “And My burden is light” – What does a light burden look like in daily life? How can we live in this reality instead of falling back into striving?
