“What did Jesus write in the sand?”

What did Jesus write in the sand when the adulterer stood before her accusers? My wife and I are separated, and I wonder: What’s the best path forward? Is worshipping Mary a salvation issue? I attended a funeral, and the priest said the deceased would be “raised on the last day.” But I also know that “absent from the body” is “present with the Lord.” So, how do we reconcile those two realities?
