You WANT to be left behind!

What happens to those who are left behind at the rapture? One of my family members is currently transitioning his gender. He went to church recently and got saved. So Is his conversion authentic? Did Paul say that getting married is an inferior existence? How can we discern the difference between heartfelt obedience and legalism?
