Calvinism, Deity of Christ, and Agreeing to Disagree

Does the word “granted” in Philippians 1:29 lend support to Calvinism? When Jesus says authority was “given” to Him, does that challenge His deity? I’m currently homeless and not together with my wife or child. What am I doing wrong? What can I do differently? Who are those whose love grows cold in Matthew 24? Is this about loss of salvation?
