“Predestined to be conformed”?

What are the spiritual blessings that we’ve been given in Christ? What does it mean to be “conformed” to the image of Christ in Romans 8? Do we need to agree with everything that Israel ever does out of fear of being cursed (Genesis 12)? What does it mean to be unequally yoked? Doesn’t Genesis 9 teach that we will be punished for taking a life? How does that reconcile with our forgiveness in Christ?
