“Did I believe with my head, not my heart?”

To what degree should we listen to other points of view on losing our salvation? I’m concerned that I only believed with my head and not my heart. Should I be worried? Why did Jesus breathe the Holy Spirit on them in John 20? Does that passage mean we get saved and then pursue a second experience?
