Is your physical body your enemy?

Are there two different meanings of “flesh” in Paul’s letters? Are our physical bodies evil? What does it mean to accept Jesus as “your personal Lord and Savior”? There are many different views of the end times. Would you consider those views to be heresy or “false teaching”?

Secret Rapture? Left Behind? No!

Is the Hebrews 4 rest a physical or spiritual rest? What about keeping the Sabbath? Why does 1 Corinthians 15 mention two kinds of bodies? Are we going to have two bodies? A pastor taught me the return of Christ might go unnoticed by many who are left behind. Could this be true?

“Are we two parts (soul, body) or three?”

How should we approach unbelievers in our circle? Do we have two parts or three parts? Does our spirit sin? Does Hebrews 9 say that God plans our time of death? What happens to those who reject the gospel? What are some key verses that remind us of our identity in Christ?

“A better deal than Adam and Eve?”

Do we still need to deny ourselves? Who has a reprobate mind? Do we go to be with God immediately upon death or do we have to wait? Did Adam and Eve actually see God? What was it like for them?

“What is a reprobate mind?”

Why did God turn some over to a reprobate mind? Who are those people? What does that mean? How do we know when God is testing our faith? Can I donate my body to science, or does that offend God?

“How do you know you’re right about God’s grace?”

How do you know that a grace-centered perspective is the most accurate interpretation of the Gospel? Why does Jesus tell some people “depart from Me”? How does God view your spirit, your soul, and your body? Is your body evil? Or is it holy?

“I still don’t feel forgiven!”

What is the soul? Is it the real me? Is it important to believe we have three parts (spirit, soul, and body) instead of just two? I’ve asked God for forgiveness over and over, but I still don’t feel forgiven. What can I do? Doesn’t the Lord’s Prayer say we’re supposed to ask Him to […]

“I’m struggling with lust and sexual sin…”

Can you be in Christ but still “think” in Adam? (Well, not exactly, but here’s why we’re still learning and growing.) I know I was saved early on in my life, but I feel that my heart has been hardened, and I keep believing lies. I’m miserable. Can you help me? Is self-defense with a […]

Still under “the moral Law”?

What does it mean to grieve the Spirit? Why does James say we all stumble when Peter says there’s a way not to stumble? Why do so many church people judge others? Does the bread and wine become the body and blood of Christ? Where does Catholicism get things wrong when it comes to forgiveness? […]

“Should you really ‘give in secret’ as Jesus said?”

I know that our spirit goes to Heaven, but what happens to our soul? Should we really try to “give in secret” as Jesus said in Matthew 6? My Bible study leader says we need to the Holy Spirit to help us keep the Law. What can I do to help him understand the truth?

Can a believer fall from God’s grace? What kind of repentance is needed to be saved? How does an unbeliever open themselves up to demons? Is Jesus still human today? Can scientists explain our origins without God? Is the Earth flat? In John 14, Jesus said we would obey His commandments if we love Him. […]

What did Jesus mean by “binding” and “loosing”? Why did Jesus ask why a man called him “Good Teacher”? Does God humble us? Or do we humble ourselves like Jesus did? Doesn’t Calvinism leave people wondering if they were truly chosen? Does the Lord’s Supper literally become the body and blood of Jesus? Do you […]

If we die, do we receive a temporary body in heaven until the rapture? What is fellowship? Why does Jesus say some will be turned away from Heaven? Is it because they didn’t do enough? I’m hearing voices that blaspheme God, and I start feel guilty and doubt my salvation.

How can our bodies be holy if they’re decaying and ultimately replaced? Are there still apostles and prophets today? I know a preacher who left the faith, because of personal pain he endured. What does this mean for our theology of “once saved, always saved”? Was obedience to the Law an act of faith? Did […]

Where does the New Testament say our sins are taken away forever? Does Romans 7 mean that Christians are doomed to be dominated by sin? How can I more effectively share the message of God’s grace with people of all backgrounds? How do the dead in Christ rise first if we are already with God […]

Why does Romans 6 say that Jesus died to sin “once for all”? I’ve been diagnosed with cancer, and my pastor has given me books on guaranteed healing from God. Now, I feel like it’s my fault that I’m not healed. Is that true? Is there any difference between the Holy Spirit and the Holy […]
