Have the events in the book of Revelation already happened?

Moses talked with God face to face, yet no one has ever seen God? How do we reconcile that? Someone told me everything in the Book of Revelation has already happened! Is that true? A pastor was teaching on Jesus turning over tables in the Temple, and he said it’s about God wanting to clean up our lives so we can stay in fellowship with Him. Is that what Jesus meant?
