Salvation. Good Works. Prayer. Brokenness.

How should we interpret the “if you continue” verse in Colossians 1? My coworker is blessing everything in our warehouse! How was Jesus born without sin? How should we view Israel today in light of Jesus? Is God trying to break us? What does it mean to pray for something but to be “willing” for it not to happen? What are the good works God prepared in advance for us?
