“Confess? Repent? Ask forgiveness? I need clarity!”

Do we need to confess every sin to God? To be more forgiven? If not, then how about just agreeing with Him? Are the mustard seed and the tree in Matthew 13 about church denominations today? What does it mean to be “born of the Spirit”? Do we have to be persecuted in order to be proven as real believers? Which Bible version do you recommend?
