“I never really knew God until now!”

I suffer with sleep paralysis. What can I do? If our sins are forgiven, then do we have to give an account? I never really knew God until now! Does the punishment in Hell last forever or come to an end? How come God doesn’t use more “gotcha” moments to prove Jesus is Messiah? I wish I could experience Christ as my life more. What should I do?
