Prosperity Gospel? Stricter Judgment?

How can we handle “alternative lifestyle” issues in church with grace? Why are so many Old Testament believers rich? Why did God stop making people rich? Why does James say teachers will incur a stricter judgment if there’s no condemnation for us in Christ?
